This day is Sunday (though I'm really still awake from Saturday) and I will go to church in the evening. It will be my first sojourn into the local church scene. I currently have paint in my hands and arms from painting my chest of drawers. I'm planning on doing another coat this afternoon. This means more paint on my person.
When I arrive at church in the evening people will see my painted hands and think "That guy is a handy man. That guy does stuff like paint and fix cupboards and cars and stuff." They'll be wrong, but I won't try and disabuse them of their assumptions. It'll be a long time before any one thinks I'm handy again, so I'll enjoy it while it lasts.
